Car Week is not one event in one place. The 50 Car Week 2026 events on this site ran at 24 fixed venues in 8 areas: the Concours and its satellite events at Pebble Beach, auctions in downtown Monterey and by the airport, Concorso Italiano on Seaside's Bayonet course, the Quail in Carmel Valley, and historic racing at Laguna Seca — 11.0 miles east of the Lodge at Pebble Beach in a straight line. The map numbers every venue; the list below it says which events are at each one.

Car Week 2026, day by day, by area. It opened in Downtown Monterey on Friday August 7 and closed in Pebble Beach on Sunday August 16. The busiest spread was Thursday August 13, with events in 7 different areas at once. Each date links to that day on the full schedule.

Planning with the map

Racing in the morning, the Quail in the afternoon

Laguna Seca (pin 7) and Quail Lodge (pin 23) are 6.5 miles apart in a straight line, on opposite sides of the hills between Highway 68 and Carmel Valley. The direct road between them is Laureles Grade Road (County Road G20), from Highway 68 down to Carmel Valley Road; the long way round is back through Monterey and down Highway 1. Neither has a drive time worth quoting in Car Week — check the closures for that day before putting both in one afternoon.

A free day without a car park

The street events cluster: Ocean Avenue in Carmel (pin 20) is 1.9 miles from the Lodge at Pebble Beach in a straight line, and Lighthouse Avenue in Pacific Grove carries its own street events. The free Car Week events list says which of them are confirmed free by their organiser, which charge to park, and which simply do not say.

Following the Tour d'Elegance

It is not pinned, on purpose. The tour runs on public roads and its route is the organiser's to publish — in 2026 the Timber Fire forced a change to the Highway 1 leg the week of the event. Start from the Tour d'Elegance page and the organiser's own route, not from a pin.

How far is Laguna Seca from Pebble Beach?

About 11.0 miles in a straight line from the Lodge at Pebble Beach to the raceway, measured between the two pins on our map. The road distance is longer and Car Week traffic makes any drive time unreliable; check the traffic page before you set off.

When is Monterey Car Week 2027?

The only 2027 date its organiser has published so far is the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on Sunday 15 August 2027. No one publishes the overall window yet, so we do not give one; the Car Week page tracks each 2027 date as it is announced.

Is there an official Monterey Car Week map?

There is no single organiser for Car Week, so there is no single official map. Monterey County has published an interactive Car Week map in past years; the copy of its event layer we found still described 2022. Each venue on ours is the one the event's own organiser publishes.

Why are some Car Week events missing from the map?

10 events on this site have no fixed public venue — rallies that start from an undisclosed location, tours on public roads, and brand houses whose organisers name only a town. Pinning them would invent a location, so they are listed under the map instead.
